The Art of the Presentation. London Fashion Week AW16

Three Floor presentation
I had a pretty busy day at LFW yesterday and the odd surprise was that it was a day full of presentations. I attended 4 of them and I could have done 2 more but I had to be back in Brighton for a wedding reception. Sadly I also missed the House of Holland show for which I had a ticket for the first time ever! Got home really pleased with the day and attending presentations ended up being much more enjoyable, fun, less tiring and stress free than the shows.

Once again London is at the forefront of this 'innovation'. Presentations have been around for years but the added element this time is the great combination and fusion of fashion+art that  makes these fashion presentation an exciting hybrid of fashion show/art installation/art event.
I'm going to get into details about the best presentations of this season in the next post and here, as well as a preview, I'm just making the point that amid the confusion of what fashion shows will be like, presentations seem to have become a solid, great alternative to them, with designers really pushing the envelope in creating interesting and creative ones.
