As you may gather from the post title, the first round of my encounter with Marni at H&M ended with a defeat :-(
Several reasons lie behind it. First and foremost I went to an H&M in Brighton - that means that it wasn't listed between the official stores that do carry the collection- but having seen the Versace collection in there, I was pretty confident that I would it.
Well..two small, tiny racks of women clothes, no accessories and no men collection!!
I walked round and round the shop, thinking and hoping that I missed other spots where the collection was available but no chance.
The second reason of my bitter experience is that the staff at the cash point were wearing a Marni at H&M top (so jelous!) and the T-shirt that the boy was wearing was the one I like (!!) , even though it didn't fit him too well as it was a tad too small for his round body shape :-( (bitchy!)

Come avrete intuito dal titolo del post, il primo round del mio incontro con Marni at H&M si e' concluso con una sconfitta :-(
Svariate ragioni vi si celano dietro. Prima di tutto perche' sono andato nell'H&M di Brighton - il che signica che non era nella lista dei negozi ufficiali che hanno la collezione - ma avendo visto la collezione Versace li', ero abbastanza fiducioso che la avrei trovata.
Beh...due spazietti striminsiti, ninete accessori e niente collezione uomo!!
Ho girato e rigirato nel negozio, pensando e sperando di non aver visto qualche altro punto in cui fosse esposta la collezione ma senza esito positivo.
La seconda ragione della mia amara esperienza sta nel fatto che lo staff alle casse indossava un top di Marni at H&M ( invidia!) e il ragazzo indossava proprio la maglietta con la fantasia che mi piace (!!), anche se non gli donava molto visto che era di una taglia troppo piccola per la sua body shape tondetta (che vipera!)

Round two will be on on Satuin two days though, when I'll be in London for the Hockney exhibition and I've already told my boyfriend that I want/need to go the H&M in Oxford Street. Hope it won't be too late.
Anyway, goign back home, I cheered myself up by buying the latest issue of I-D and Vogue :-))
Il secondo round sara' tra due giorni pero', quando saro' a Londra per la mostra di Hockney e ho gia' detto al mio compagno che voglio/necessito di andare nell'H&M di Oxford Street. Spero non sia troppo tardi.
Comunque, tornando a casa, Mm sono consolato comprando l'ultimo numero di I-D e Vogue :-))
a Roma se la sono spazzata via con un giorno!
