A quick post to wish to all of you a happy Easter and show you how I had to compromise with the choice of Easter eggs here in the Uk. Me and R. are having his family for lunch on Easter Monday and his 9 y/o niece it's gonna be there as well. So I thought that she should have an egg all for herself and got out to get a big wrapped one, just like the ones that for 33 years I've been used to get and see in Italy.
Turns out that here in the Uk pineapple wrapped Easter eggs are not in use so I had to find something fancy and nice but ina different packaging. That's what I found for the niece - a butterfly decoreted egg - and then got one for the adults as well.
Un post veloce per augurarvi buona Pasqua e farvi vedere come sono dovuto scendere a compromessi con la scelta delle uova di Pasqua qui in Inghilterra. Io e R. avremo parte della sua famiglia a pranzo a Pasquetta eci sara' anche la sua nipotina di 9 anni. Ho pensato che debba avere un uovo di Pasqua tutto suo e mi sono imbracato alla ricerca di un uovo grosso e bello impacchettato, proprio come quelli che per 33 anni sono stato abituato a vedere e ricevere in Italia.
Scopro che qui in Inghilterra le uova impacchetate come ananas non si usino quindi ho dovuto trovare qualcosa di carino con un packaging diverso. Questo e' quello che ho trovato - un uvo con una decorazione a farfalla - e gia' che c'ero ne ho preso anche uno per noi adulti.
