Luigi Borbone FW 2011-12 Collection. The fashion show.

Luigi Borbone's FW 2011-2012 Collection finally ( i coulnd't wait longer) showed yesterday at Palazzo Ferrajoli at 6pm and it can be described as a breath of fresh air.

As anticipated by the adv preview pictures the collection presented a strong, femminine and elegant young woman.

The military, uniform, aromur theme was there, but subtly developed and displayed.

The outifts cleverly styled by Romina Toscano, who gave a sexy edge to the looks, were interesting from head to toe and from the forn to the back. A 360 degree pleasure for the eyes.

Hair and make up, coordinated by Antonio Ciaramella, were Haute Couture but modern and fresh.

La Collezione FW 20111-2012 di Luigi Borbone ha finalmente sfilato ieri (non ce la facevo piu' ad aspettare), a Palazzo Ferrajoli alle 6pm e la posso solo che describere come una boccata d'aria fresca.

Come anticipato dalle immagini della campagna pubblicitaria la collezione ha presentato una giovane donna forte, femminile ed elegante.

Il tema militare dell'uniforme e della corazza era presente, ma sottilmente sviluppato e mostrato.

Gli outifit, il cui styling è stato affidanto al'occhio sapientedi Romina Toscano, che gli ha dato un tocco sexy,erano interessanti da capo a piedi e sia davanti che dietro. Un piacere a 360gradi per gli occhi.

Trucco e acconciature, coordinati da Antonio Ciaramella, erano Haute Couture ma moderni e freschi.

Just few final words on the informal, lively and dymamic athmosphere in the three halls were the collection were shown. That is due to the vision of Luigi himself, Olivier di Gianni, press agent, Romina Toscano and all that work with them, who cleraly want to push forward a concept of fashion that involves the young generations as well and the new technologie ( one hall was dedicated to sit blogger and on line journalists!)

Poche righe infine sull'atmosfera informale, frizzante e dimanica che si respirava nei tre sloni in cui hanno sfilato gli abiti. Questo grazie all visione di Luigi stesso, Olivier di Gianni, ufficio stampa, Romina Toscano e tutti quelli che lavorano con loro, i quali, vogliono portare avanti un'idea di moda che coinvolga, anche Roma, le nuove generazioni e le nuove tecnologie ( un salone apposito era per far sedere blogger e gironalisti che lavorano on-line!).

Fur&the city. Fendi&SouthKorea

Finally it happend.

On June the 2nd Fendi did its fashion show on the artificial island in the river Han, in Soth Korea.

But the show, way before it happened, faced the opposition of animal protesters and the goverment that didnt want Fendi to showcase fur on the runway.

They then agreed to show less pieces than planned and in a smart move I read that they did ot show any, even though from the video I can see some.

I'm personally against real fur, even though I have not a strong love for animals, but I believe that we no longer need real animal skin to cover ourselves and that real fur as a status is REALLY old fashioned.

Finalmente c'è stata.

Il 2 giugno Fendi ha sfilato sull'isola artificialenel fiume Han, in Corea del Sud.

Ma lo show, molto prima che ci fosse, ha afforntato l'oposizione dgli animalisti e del governo che non volevano che Fendi facesse sfilare capi in pelliccia.

Fendi si è messa d'accordo di mostrare meno capi in pelliccia di quanti ne erano stati programmati e con mossa abile, ho letto che non ne ha sfilato alcuno, anche se dal video ne ho visti alcuni.

Personalmente sono contro la pelliccia vera, anche se non amo particolarmente gli animali, ma ritengo che non abbiamo più bisogno di coprirci di pelliccia vera e che essa sia uno status symbol VERAMENTE datato.
