Jumpsuit ... the dungaree A.D. 2010!

Do you remember the dungarees that our mummies made us wear when we were babies? and those that we wore as rebellious teenagers with a pair of Doc. Martens?

Well, fashion history is repeating, yet again, and dungarees have evolved into a more stylish piece of clothing:jumpsuits! Forget the denim and the baggy fit, from now on jumpsuit is going to be the new dungaree.

The contemporary jumpsuit is a deluxe dungaree: different materials, not only denim, several colours, and the braces give way to a one-shoulder strap or a neck holder.

The jumpsuit has a huge bonus: it becomes a proper evening outfit if you match it with high heels or platform shoes, shiny necklaces and bangles.

Here three examples of jumpsuit from street fashion retailers.

Summer trends 2010

Even though the weather doesn't make you tell - heavy showers and floods all over- the summer season has officially started!Amongst the several seasonal trends , shorts and hot pants are back under the spotlight. Only if you have fantastic toned and slim legs, hot pants are really your thing, otherwise shorts are what really suits you. In fact hot pants' hem line really shows up too much skin.

As an alternative you can opt for a pair of high waisted hot pants that compensate, on one hand, for the bare leg, and on the other, give you a vintage touch!
Below you will see two sober and smart examples, for and aperitif,a dinner party on a terrace or a night out with your friends.
Leighton Meester, aka Blair Waldorf in Gossip Girl, matches the hot pants with a sash of the same colour and a white blouse, like a modern Jane-of-the-jungle.
Lauren Conrad, instead, star of the MTV docu-reality The Hills, wears her hot pants with high heels, a clutch bag of a similar colour and an airy neutral top.

Here, as a shopping tip, there are some H&M brown shorts for 14.95Euros...

..and a total H&M look for 24.95Euros - but you can get also only the shorts.

Milan S/S 2011

At Milan Men's Wear S/S 2011 two main tendencies emerged in terms of styling and mood.
1)A masculine, soldier like, gloomy, rock style, as seen on Emporio Armani, D&G and Burberry Prorsum shows.

2) A relaxed, twink like, colorful, clean , neat and crisp immage as seen on Corneliani,Jill Sander (Pitti, Florence), Vivieene Westwood, Prada and Versace.

Finally designer started to give men more choice in terms of clothing and accessories and more fun in terms of styling.
one day you can be a hunk and the next a twink ...why not? Let's get involved then!
